We loved the location and great restaurants and cafes near by. Property is on nice street near the main street, but very quiet. We didn't a chance to use the pool and cafe We love Spanish architecture of the building in and out. Room was good size; bathroom and shower room separated and a nice bath tab. We loved how bright the room was and the balcony overlooking the central court. This was a perfect place to relax when we wanted and be in a center of the State street in less than 10 mins of lazy walk.

The hotel was very cool and had a great vibe. Loved that we could bring our dog. The afternoon lemonade and candy/cookies were fun and tasty. The weekend pastries and fruit were great! All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Chandra at the front desk. The room was pretty, felt big and the bed was comfortable. The fireplace put out a lot of heat. The underground parking was really nice too. Quick easy walk to State street. Definitely would like to come back.

The whole decor and layout of the hotel is very welcoming There is a lovely courtyard where drinks are served and there are complimentary drinks from 5pm to 6pm (not Sunday) Absolutely free! The rooms are of a very high standard with balconies The location is excellent being a few minutes from the centre of State St and near the best restaurants The staff were very helpful especially Fabian and Nate on the front desk We went to a Winery for a tasting and Fabian provided us with all the picnic accessories. The pool is small and comfortable to sit around Overall one of our best stays in Santa Barbara in a great boutique hotel

Beautiful property in stunning Santa Barbara. All the facilities provided were great and to a high standard. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was beautiful and well decorated. They offer a happy hour which is always a great addition. The breakfast was delicious - especially the granola bowl. Special shout out to Noel from the bar and the general manager Silvia - they both made our stay extra special.

This is a great boutique property, a short walk from downtown State Street Santa Barbara. The hotel is very comfortable and very quiet in spite of its in-town location. The staff could not have been more helpful. I spent an extremely enjoyable 4 days and had great weather to boot. I will go back

I love the quiet but central location and the retro cool vibe. I liked the little balcony, the gas fireplace, and large fridge. The bedding is very comfy.

Quietly elegant yet home-like, my experience of Palihouse was a delight. The staff are all—to a person— kind and welcoming, and the vibe is warm, familiar, well-curated and much like a club of which you’re a long-time, valued member. The room was very spacious, extraordinarily well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. A private taste of SoCal at its best; I’ll definitely be returning.

I love the styling of the hotel everything casually effortless. The staff were super friendly and helpful Fabio was great. Loved taking out the bikes for a spin. Cocktail hour was great and complimentary fizz in room was a nice touch. Beds super comfortable and water pressure in shower excellent.

We loved everything! It was a fabulous boutique hotel, with exceptional staff and sophisticated and charming decor. It’s obvious that management takes great care and attention to every detail to make a comfortable stay for guests.

I love the location, walkable to the center of town, restaurants and historic buildings but on a quiet street. I also love that it has an underground self park garage, cute design, spa water and lemonade on tap in the lobby.
